Google’s Bluetooth ”Fast Pair” now syncs between Android devices. Coming in 2019.

Google unveiled a feature along with the Pixel Buds called “Fast Pair.” The feature is part of Google Play Services and it works with Android 6.0 and above.Fast Pair enables quick discovery and pairing with compatible devices via Bluetooth. Now, it’s getting even smarter and will soon support Audio books.

Fast Pair was created to improve the experience of connecting Bluetooth accessories to smartphones. It did that in one way by speeding up the process. However, it’s still annoying to set things up for the first time on a new device. Bluetooth devices connected with Fast Pair will now sync to your Google account and be remembered on your “current and future Android phones.” This will make the phone set up process even smoother.
