The Nokia 8.1 comes with Android Pie and an HDR-equipped Display.

The specs of the Nokia 8.1 are generally what you will find in devices in this price range today. It features a notched display with a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels and HDR10 support. It comes with impressive 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage . This external storage is expandable up to 400GB via microSD. The phone comes with a headphone jack but you also get Bluetooth AptX support for good measure.

Speaking of the camera( which is an important factor many people put into consideration today), the Nokia 8.1 has a 12MP f/1.8 shooter and a 13MP portrait shooter on the back of the camera. The 20MP sensor for selfie lovers is located at the front of the device.

The Nokia 8.1 switches the Snapdragon 660 present on on Nokia 7 Plus  to a Snapdragon 710 chipset . If this is to happen, it is still not as powerful as last year’s Nokia 8, equipped with the Snapdragon 835 SoC which is  faster.

The Nokia 8.1 runs Android Pie out of the box, powered by a battery of 3,500mAh. It’s a refreshing experience thanks to Android One. Let’s hope it’s reaching Nigeria very soon.
