In this post, we are going to be talking about the features, how they work and how to use them.
Silent Messages
Silent Messages feature allows users to send messages without making a sound. To do this, just hold the Send button and choose to deliver the message or media without sound and the receiver will get a notification as usual, but their phone won’t make a sound even if they forgot to enable the Do Not Disturb mode.
This also works in groups.
Slow Mode
This works best for group admins to manage the rate at which members send messages to the group. When you enable this Slow Mode in your group, group members will only be able to send one message per the interval you choose. A timer will show how long you have to wait before sending your next message.
This will reduce flooding in the group and will make group conversation more orderly, and where the group is meant for training, participant will have a specific time interval to drop in their next questions. This feature is not applicable to the admins of the group.
Admin Titles
Group owners can now set custom titles for Admins like ‘Unfriendly Gwen’, ‘Victor Entclass’, ‘Elabdoul G’ etc. Custom titles are shown with every message in the group so members can know who they’re and to be sure that they are talking to the designated person.
Animated Emoji
Few weeks back, Telegram introduced Animated Emoji, which is now available for users. To see them, simply send love, thumbs up emoji to any chat, be it private chat or group chat.
