Abimbola Oladokun (born June 25, 1997), known professionally as Bayanni, is a rising Nigerian Afro-pop singer and songwriter. Zhenoboy was his previous name. The African Beauty crooner rose to prominence in 2021 after social media videos of his cover songs went viral.
Bayanni, who was once rumored to be a Davido Music Worldwide artist, has won over many Nigerians with his soulful sound and catchy lyrics.
He recorded and released covers of popular songs like Peru, Jowo, and Felony, which he released in 2021. He created the singles BMW, African Beauty, Duro, and Ballerina.

Bayanni was born in Nigeria on June 25, 1997, in Lagos State, Nigeria. He was born in Lagos to Southern parents. His formative years were spent in Lagos with his parents and siblings.
He comes from an illustrious family known for their moral values and charitable acts. His parents raised him in the Christian faith, ensuring that he was familiar with the teachings of the Bible from a young age.

Bayanni knew early on that he wanted to make music professionally and chose to focus on mainstream music rather than gospel music.
He began composing Afropop and Afrobeats songs in the comfort of his parents’ house and school hostel room, influenced by leading music acts such as Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Olamide.
Within months, he had greatly improved his songwriting skills and began visiting recording studios near his university to record his songs. He quickly made friends with many sound producers in Lagos and Ile-Ife who admired his musical talent.
Bayanni found time to make music despite her busy schedule as an undergraduate. He prioritized his passion, which paved the way for him. Because he quickly became a well-known face in the OAU music community, he began to receive collaboration requests and invitations to perform at university-hosted shows.
Bayanni began recording covers of popular songs and posting them on his social media pages in order to advance his career. In April 2021, he recorded and released a cover of Ckay’s Felony. On October 14, 2021, he released the cover of Jowo by Davido. On the 19th of October 2021, he released the cover of Peru by Fireboy DML five days later.
Bayanni released his highly anticipated single titled African Beauty on April 12th, 2022. Blaise Beatz produced the song, with Michael Synx handling the mixing. Pharouk Damilola Films shot the video for the single, which was released on the same day.
Since its release, African Beauty has received thousands of streams and downloads. The song is steadily climbing the country’s Afropop charts.
Other singles by the soulful singer include Duro (featuring Frescool), BMW, and Ballerina.
After a brief absence from the media, Bayanni was announced as the Mavins’ newest member in August 2022. The announcement was accompanied by a short video featuring comedians Brain Jotter, Mr Funny, and Don Jazzy in a lab setting.
