Chacha Eke was born and raised in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State.

She grew raised in a middle-class family that moved to Enugu State and then to Asaba, the capital of Delta State.
Prof. John Eke, her father, is a well-known politician, academic, and former Commissioner of Education in Ebonyi State, who was appointed by then-Gov. David Nweze Umahi.
Peace Eke is Chacha Eke’s younger sister.
Chacha Eke’s educational career began when she enrolled at the Esut Nursery and Primary School in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
She attended a missionary school called Our Lord Shepard International School in Enugu, Nigeria, for her junior and high school education.
She was accepted into Ebonyi State University after receiving her necessary West African Examination Council (WAEC) diploma and the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) (EBSU).
She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and graduated with honors.
Chacha Eke began performing when she was a teenager. She worked at local events while also continuing her studies.
After successfully auditioning at a talent contest held in her hometown of Abakaliki, she landed her first official role in a film.
She went on to audition for more talent shows and was cast in her debut film in 2009.
Chacha Eke rose to notoriety in the cinema industry and among fans after appearing in the popular TV drama The End Is Near in 2012.
Patience Ozokwor, Chika Ike, Yul Edochie, and other notable performers appeared in the drama.
