The Serbian international leaves the Waldstadion after four standout seasons to take on a fresh challenge in Serie A.

Filip Kostic, a winger for Eintracht Frankfurt, has officially joined Juventus. The 29-year-efforts old’s in the Europa League the previous season drew interest from clubs all over the continent.

42 years after their famous UEFA Cup victory, Frankfurt won the competition after defeating Rangers in the championship match. Kostic contributed three goals and four assists during Frankfurt’s ascent to victory.

At one point, it appeared as though West Ham might win the competition to sign the Serbian international, but he has since decided to go on to Juventus, ending his four-year stay at the Waldstadion.

How much did Juventus purchase Filip Kostic from Eintracht Frankfurt?

Kostic moved from Frankfurt to Juve for an alleged sum of €16 million (£14 million/$17 million) plus add-ons.

He will reportedly earn about €2.5 million a year while working in Turin.
