Iyabo Ojo, who was born in Lagos to an Ogun State father, attended National College, Gbagbada, before enrolling in Lagos State Polytechnic to study estate management.
She began her acting career in 1998 after participating in a theatrical group in secondary school. “So after I had come of age, I went to Bimbo Akintola, after viewing one of her flicks,” she stated of her beginning. And I told her I wanted to be an actress, and she or he agreed to help me. I registered with the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) with her help, and she then showed me around the profession, introducing me to a slew of people she knew.”
Ojo has written and starred in a number of Nigerian films. Her debut film role was in the English-language picture Demonic, which was released in 1998. Baba Darijinwon, her first Yoruba-language film, was released in 2002. Silence, starring Joseph Benjamin, Alex Usifo, Fathia Balogun, and Doris Simeon, premiered at the Silverbird Cinemas in Ikeja, Lagos, in January 2015.

She is also a wife in addition to her apparent occupation. In 1999, Iyabo married. She gave birth to her first kid, Festus, not long after. Then, in 2001, Iyabo welcomed her second child into the world. It transforms into Priscilla Ajoke Ojo, a female.
