Okey Bakassi whose real name is Okechukwu Anthony Onyegbule is a multiple award-winning and popular Nigerian actor, stand-up comedian, television personality movie producer and director. He has created a niche for himself and has contributed immensely towards the growth of the Nigerian Entertainment industry.
Okey Bakassi was born on the 23rd of October, 1969 in Owerri, Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He studied Agricultural Engineering at Rivers State University. He features in most English and indigenous (Igbo) movies. He first movie he acted in is titled “Fortunes” in 1993.
Okey Bakassi is happily married to his beautiful wife, Ezinne. The couple have been together for 17 years and they’re blessed with three children (two girls and a boy),. His children are identified as: Chidera Onyegbule (First daughter), Fechi Onyegbule (second daughter) and Chetanna (only son). His wife and his children are based in Canada.
