His Nollywood career began by chance when the famous producer Ruke Amata discovered him at a filling station and advised him to attend casting calls for movies.

Early Life and Education
Mike Ezuruonye was born in Anambra State on September 21, 1982, but grew up in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Chichi Ezuruonye is his sister’s name. The actor, 39, is the oldest of four siblings.
He attended the Federal Government College in Taraba and Archbishop Aggey Memorial School in Lagos for his primary and secondary education.
Mike Ezuruonye earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
Career
Mike Ezuruonye’s acting career came about by accident. His faith eventually found him. He had previously worked as a banker. While buying fuel at a filling station, Nollywood’s famous producer, Ruke Amata, noticed him and suggested he pursue a career in acting.
His professional debut was in the television series “Ultimate Hero.” Dickson Iroegbu, the film producer, gave him his first significant role in the film “Broken Marriage” in 2003, catapulting him to fame.
