Her Early Life
Nicolette Mashile was born on September 14, 1988, in Bushbuckridge, but she grew up in Mpumalanga. She is the youngest of three siblings. She never fails to express how much she adores her siblings. She described how her elder sister, Bridget Mashile, was always there for her when she needed it.
Nicolette Mashile spent the majority of her childhood in Nelspruit, where she attended a boarding school. She also revealed in an interview that she and her sisters were isolated as children because they couldn’t speak English or Swazi.
Nicolette Mashile expressed gratitude to her parents for everything, despite their strictness; she also revealed how her parents struggled just to ensure that she and her siblings received a good education.
