As the year ends its so sad that we have this top celebrities who aren’t with us no more, Here are the list of celebrities who died in the year 2021

Nigerian looses one of her  Nollywood star Folake Aremu alias Orisabunmi who die on January 5.

2: Ernest Asuzu

The Veteran Nollywood actor known as Ernest Asuzu  died on January 26 at the age of 37 after he slumped. Asuzu wey who is a Nigerian musician is popular for playing criminal and hitman role in nollywood movies.

3: Sadiq Daba

The Veteran Nigerian actor and broadcaster known as Sadiq Daba died on wednesday in the evening, March 3, at the age of 69. The well known actor once battled with leukaemia before his death.

4: Ada Jesus

The Popular Nigerian comedian Ada Jesus with her real name known to be Mmesoma Mercy Obi died on April 21 after she battled with kidney issues. In one of her interview wit the BBC Igbo, Ada Jesus said that she is sick with kidney problem. in the interview she do on February 2021, the Instagram sensation said its almost  one year  she had been battling with the illness.

5: Obama DMW

One of the members of Davido’s (DMW) crew Habeeb Uthman aka Obama DMW die on Tuesday, June 29. Obama DMW death affected many celebrity friends who  refereed to him as a real person. Obama DMW was given birth to in Lagos and he got his Bachelor’s degree in Lagos State University before he moved to Canada. In DMW, He work as Davido road manager before he formed his own record label inside DMW which he call Obama Music Worldwide.

6: Sound Sultan

Sound Sultan is one of the known musician in Nigeria He die of throat cancer on Saturday, July 11, His family bin announce. The singer real name is known to be Olanrewaju Ganiu Fasasi who die at the age of 44 and was buried in Muslim cemetery, New Jersey, United States.

7: Rachel Oniga

Popular Nigerian veteran actress Rachel Oniga died at the age of 64 on July 30 from heart-related issue. In the  statement  her family release, they announced that Oniga die in one of Lagos hospital. the actress originated from Delta State and was born  on May 23, 1957. She begin her acting career for 1993. Oniga family describe her death as “God design” and “function of a race of life well finished”.

8: Victor Olaotan

Nigerian loosed a vibrant nollywood actor on August 26 at the age of 69. Before his death, the actor was battling with his  life after the accident he got in the year 2016 as he was driv ing to in Lagos, Nigeria. Olaotan acted as the main character named Fred Ade-Williams in the popular Africa Magic TV series Tinsel.

9: Sir Victor Uwaifo

the vibrant nigerian musician die on August 28 at the age of 80. Sir Uwaifo is a legend many people respected well before his death, and his song Joromi would always be evergreen. He released this song in 1965 wen he was 24 years and the veteran musician has  sang many other songs are hits tracks.

10: Baba Suwe

Popular Nigerian comedian Babatunde Omidina aka Baba Suwe died at the age of 63 on November 22. his son Sola Omidina announced the death of the veteran actor on his Instagram page. Baba Suwe began acting in 1971 but become popular after he feature in one movie titled, Omolasan. he became more popular after he feature for Iru Esin, wey Olaiya Igwe produced in 1997.

11: Sam Obiago

Veteran actor Sam Obiago aka Daddy Sam die on Thursday, December 23. His the  president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, confirmed the news of the actor’s death on Thursday. Daddy Sam feature for Nollywood movies like; Tears of a King, Royal Appointment, Blood Brothers and other popular films.

12: Bruno Iwuoha

the veteran Nollywood actor who died on Saturday, April 10, after he battled with diabetes.Bruno Iwuoha die at the age of 68 and many Nollywood filmmakers describehis death as shocking.

13: Karibi Fubara

Nollywood actor, Karibi Fubara die on Wednesday 15 December, 2021. his family members announced it on their social media page. the “God calling” actor was diagnosed of cancer in 2020. in one of his Instagram post after the surgery he had, he said it was around Easter he received the news that he had large mid-stage kidney tumor/cancer. And on 3rd May, 2021 I had a very successful surgery remove about 90% of the tumor.
