Early Life and Education
He started his education at St. John Primary School before transferring to Fadil Umar Ahmadiyyah School, where he finished.
Oriyomi Hamzat went to the well-known Pade school of sciences after finishing high school at the Iroko community grammar school.
Several years after graduating from secondary school, the presenter was accepted into the prestigious University of Ibadan to study Linguistics and Language Arts, but he declined because his passion was for sciences and geology.

Oriyomi Hamzat, an Ibadan-based broadcaster, was apprehended by the police. The arrest was conducted in response to a petition filed by the Chairman of Hilton Hotel and Resort, Rahmon Adedoyin. Timothy Adegoke, a postgraduate student at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, is currently on trial, along with six employees of Adedoyin’s hotel, Hilton Hotels. In the case, Adegoke was a witness.
Adedoyin filed a complaint with the Deputy Inspector-General of Police alleging defamation, false alarm, provocation, and unlawful interference with the operations of the police and the court.
The appeal was delivered to the Director-General of the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department in Area 10, Garki, Abuja. “Oriyomi’s arrest was sequel to his refusal to honour Police invitation severally, which prompted the police to secure a warrant for his arrest.
“We are looking into the petition written against him on his violation of the Cyber Crime Act, 2015, and necessary action will be taken to do justice in the matter. Further development will be communicated to you all.”
