Isakaba Boys is without a doubt the finest Nigerian action film. There have been others, but none have come close to Isakaba Boys.

The film, directed by Lancelot Oduwa Imascent, exposes the harrowing subject of Nigeria’s “jungle justice,” in which individuals take the law into their own hands. Isakaba is a group of men (about 12 in number) who use demonic power to rid the villages of corruption and other crimes.

We may argue that the film reminded us of the popular Bakassi guys who were popular in Onitsha and Aba. They mutilate and burn the bodies of any criminals they apprehend. The same is true for the Isakabba lads.
I was young when I saw the movie, but I recently rewatched it and became curious about what happened to all of the James Bonds in the film.

Ikenka- (Chudi Kashimawo Nnamuah)

Ebube (Sam Dede) and Woke, his second in command, commanded the Isakaba lads. Their commander is Ikenka, who is “nwa ngworo” (cripple) and was in a wheelchair throughout the film. He assists the Isakaba lads when their commander, Ebube, is overcome by difficulties. For example, when they arrived at the huge igbudu location, the combat became heated, and they requested his assistance.

Chudi Kashimawo Nnamuah is his given name. Enugu State-born Nigerian actor. His breakthrough came with the film Isakaba Boys.
