Snapchat Permanently Bans President Trump’s Account

Snapchat has declared the ban of President Trump from their platform in a statement released.

This comes after Twitter, Facebook, Twitch, Instagram and other internet platforms ban the US President after Pro Trump Supporters stormed the US Capitol which led to the loss of some lives. Meanwhile, Youtube suspended Donald Trump’s channel for seven days for a video inciting violence which goes against its policies. The spokesperson of Snapchat said; “Last week we announced an indefinite suspension of President Trump’s Snapchat (SNAP) account, and have been assessing what long term action is in the best interest of our Snapchat community,” “In the interest of public s
afety, and based on his attempts to spread misinformation, hate speech, and incite violence, which are clear violations of our guidelines, we have made the decision to permanently terminate his account.”
