Early Life and Education

Tonto Charity Dikeh was born on June 9, 1985 in Ikwerre, Rivers State, Nigeria. She is the third of five children born to Mr Sunny Dikeh, her father, and Mrs Veronica Dikeh, her mother.

She is of Ikwerre descent and was born in Rivers State’s Obio Akpor Local Government Area. Tonto Dikeh’s mother died when she was three years old, so she and her siblings were raised by her stepmother. Tatiana Dikeh is her sister, and Charles Dikeh is her brother.

She grew up in Port Harcourt and graduated from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology with a BSc in petrochemical engineering.

In August 2015, Tonto Dikeh married Oladunni Churchill. The couple divorced in 2017 after having a son, Andre Omodayo Churchill.

Tonto Dikeh’s career in the Nigerian entertainment industry began in 2006, following his participation in the reality television show The Next Movie Star in 2005. She had previously worked as a car dealer in Port Harcourt.
