At Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, a spectacular late Mason Mount goal finally saved Chelsea’s face after the weird goal brought Club America level at 1-1 following Timo Werner’s opening goal.

James sent the ball back to Bettinelli without looking with 59 minutes left in the game. From the edge of the area, James turned back toward his goal.

The keeper was utterly unprepared for the pass and was powerless to stop it from rolling into the goal with his extended leg.
