Yul Edochie was born in Lagos, Nigeria, on January 7, 1982. He is 40 years old right now.

Yul Edochie made his Nollywood debut at the age of 23 when he was cast opposite Justus Esiri and Chidi Mokeme in the film The Exquires. Since then, he has been in a number of additional Nollywood films.

His major break came in 2007 when he starred opposite Genevieve Nnaji and Desmond Elliot in the film Wind of Glory. Since then, he has continued to play a variety of roles in Nigerian films that have been released.

Yul Edochie said that the country was failing to adequately teach the next generation of actors and actresses. As a result, in 2015, he founded the Yul Edochie Academy to train the next generation of actors and actresses.
